 This patient came in with two very broken down teeth (1st bicuspid and canine). Root canal therapy had already been performed. To properly restore the teeth, fiber posts were cemented first and then the two teeth were built up with composite. Using the advanced CEREC technology, the canine was designed and was "virtually" seated with the-state-of-the-art Cerec Biogeneric software. The bicuspid was designed next. Within 2 hours from the start, the two crowns were "milled" out from two blocks of ceramics.  Post-op photo: Metal-free ceramic crowns were cemented. The whole procedure took a little over two hours, patient got the crowns done the same day, no temporaries, no second appt necessary, thanks to CEREC technology. Top of Page |
