Six Zimmer TSV dental implants were surgically placed in the maxilla of this 42-year-old patient.
(Implant surgery performed by Dr. Frank L. Pavel, San Diego, California) Locator abutments
were then placed and tightened with a torque wrench.

To attach the upper denture to the Locator abutments, blue plastic male attachments
were picked up intra-orally. Observe the parallelism among the attachments and the
absence of palatal coverage. Using CEREC technology, the prepared tooth was captured
with a 3-dimensional infra-red camera. The new restoration was designed and then milled
out from a block of porcelain. This photograph was taken immediately after cementation.

The result is an aesthetically pleasing denture. The patient was very happy with the results.
