This patient is interested in improving her smile. Pre-op photo shows very broken down teeth #8, 9 and 10. Tooth #7 already has a porcelain-fused-to-metal crown. Using imaging software, a cosmetic simulation was performed to get a ‘sneak preview’ of the final result. The most challenging task here is to match the new crowns to the shade of #7.
Post-op photo: The patient is very happy with the results. The new crowns blend in very well with the existing crown #7. Thanks to CEREC AC technology, the whole procedure takes a few short hours, with no second appointment or temporary crowns necessary.
The three teeth were prepared and utilizing CEREC AC technology, digital 3D impression was taken with Bluecam. Crown #8, #9 and #10 were then sequentially designed and ‘virtually seated’. They were then milled out one by one chair-side.
